    Hardware & Assembly

         Does your project require hardware or welding, maybe both?  With complete welding and hardware insertion abilities in house, IIT will deliver your completed project on time and on budget.

Hardware

    With an extensive stock of PEM hardware on site, IIT has the tools to easily complete your project.

    Utilizing pneumatically driven PEMSERTERS®, installation of unified or metric self-clinching nuts, studs, and standoffs is achieved quickly and consistently. 

Welding

    Gas metal arc welding (GMAW), also know as metal inert gas or MIG welding utilizes a continuous electrode resulting in faster welding speeds.  GMAW can be applied to a wide variety of metals, both ferrous and non-ferrous.

    Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), or tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding (also sometimes erroneously referred to as heliarc welding) is especially useful for welding thin materials.  GTAW is used when quality welds are extremely important.

Spot and shot welding capabilities also in-house.
